“Restart Your Mind” dei Laments Of Silence è un disco piacevole, ma del tutto derivativo. La musica proposta da questa band è un death melodico con influenze gothic e core. La produzione è ben fatta, i pezzi sono scritti bene, l’ascolto scorre piacevolmente, tuttavia manca di personalità. La recensione potrebbe anche terminare qua, chi apprezza il genere probabilmente si godrà per un po’ “Restart Your Mind”, ma immagino che dopo qualche tempo lo riporrà sullo scaffale a prendere polvere per tornare ad ascoltare i capisaldi del genere. Non c’è molto altro da dire, se non che è un po’ triste notare come anche dischi tutto sommato piacevoli come questo lascino l’amaro in bocca, il metal continua ormai a ripetersi e a ripiegarsi su sè stesso quando c’è invece davvero bisogno di innovazione…
