SEVENDUST got an likely shoutout earlier today (Wednesday, September 9) during the Apple TV presentation portion of Apple‘s annual iOS event in San Francisco. According to Metal Injection, Apple rep Jennifer Folds was discussing the music capabilities of the Apple TV when a SEVENDUST song came on, with her saying, “You probably wouldn’t have guessed it, but I’m a huge metalhead and this is one of my favorite bands.” Then, for a few seconds, the audio for the new SEVENDUST track “Thank You” blasted through the event.
“Thank You” is taken from SEVENDUSTs eleventh studio album, “Kill The Flaw”, which will be released on October 2 via 7Bros. Records with ADA/Warner Brothers distribution. The CD was produced by SEVENDUST and recorded at Architekt Music in Butler, New Jersey with engineer/mixer Mike Ferretti.
“Kill The Flaw” is available for digital pre-order at iTunes. Fans who order the album will receive an instant download of the first single, “Thank You”, which can be streamed below as well as via streaming partners Spotify and Apple Music.
“We took some time off from the heavy side of SEVENDUST, and when it came time to record some new music, Clint, John, Vinnie, Morgan and I put everything we had in to what became ‘Kill The Flaw’,” states vocalist Lajon Witherspoon. “We love this new music and we can’t wait to share it with our amazing SEVENDUST family!”
SEVENDUST is comprised of vocalist Lajon Witherspoon, guitarists John Connolly and Clint Lowery, bassist Vince Hornsby and drummer Morgan Rose.
