AC/DC Sell Most Concert Tickets In 2015

Although Taylor Swift grossed $250.4 million worldwide for her 1989 tour, selling a total of 2.27 million tickets, AC/DC topped her in ticket sales for 2015.

AC/DC played 15 more shows than Swift, with a total of 2.31 million tickets sold, the most of any artist in the Top 20, according to Pollstar.

U2, who came in fourth with $152.2 million, bested both Swift and AC/DC in the category of average gross per show at $6.9 million compared to Swift’s $4.7 million and AC/DC’s $1.8 million.
