Devastante grindcore senza compromessi e dall’attitudine a dir poco deflagrante: è questa la proposta dei CxOxSx, programmatici sin dall’artwork grottesco e nei suoni compressi e brutali. Otto tracce per poco più di 11 minuti di devastazione delle meningi, urla gutturali, tempi inumani, linearità e groove irresistibile. Le influenze di questi terroristi sonori di Vicenza sono facilmente individuabili nei primi Napalm Death, nei Discharge, nei S. O. D. e nei D. R. I. (omaggiati nella cover della storica “Commuter Man”). “Fuck The World (Save Yourself)”, “Surface”, “Social Emotion” sono schegge impazzite di metalcore ultra – carico, pregne di umore rivoluzionario e odio verso le ingiurie della società moderna. Nessuna traccia di modernizzazione dell’estremo o velleità catartiche come sembra vada (giustamente) di moda tra gruppi di labels (ingiustamente) elitarie quali relapse o hydra head, solo uno stentoreo ma letale calcio in faccia: i CxSxOx non hanno altra pretesa se non quella di stendervi a terra piuttosto che atterrirvi con il loro discutibilissimo e politicamente scorretto senso dell’umorismo. Tecnicamente il quartetto se la cava piuttosto bene (efficacissimo il drummer Simone Falloppi) e la registrazione è quantomeno adeguata al genere proposto. Difetti? Forse possono apparire anacronistici o superati… ma la loro furia iconoclasta è credibile e contagiosa. Terrorizzanti e divertenti: bravi!
