Steamhammer/SPV will release young German thrash metal act Fateful Finality’s second album, Battery, on March 23rd in Europe. A new lyric video for the track “Get Things Straight” can be found below.
The four-piece from Weil der Stadt, Baden-Württemberg, featuring guitarists/vocalists Simon Schwarzer and Patrick Prochiner, bassist Philipp Mürder and drummer Mischa Wittek, brought out their debut King Of Torture in fall 2011 and presented their own brand of modern thrash metal only one year later at the finals of the Wacken Metal Battle 2012. Their successful mix of clear vocals, aggressive screams and amazingly mature songwriting makes the group’s hard-as-nails sound all the more impressive.
The eleven tracks on Battery were recorded at Hamburg’s Chameleon Studios with Eike Freese (Dark Age, Gamma Ray) and at the Chemical Burn Studios in Bad Kösen, Saxony, with Alexander Dietz (Heaven Shall Burn).
The band will tour as a support for Suicide Angels and Dr. Living Dead! in Germany and Austria. More festival and European shows will be announced soon.
