GOJIRA And DEAFHEAVEN To Perform At 2019 BONNAROO MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL

GOJIRA and DEAFHEAVEN are among the artists who will perform at the 2019 Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival. The 18th annual four-day multi-stage camping festival will take place June 13-16, held as always at Great Stage Park, the spectacular 700-acre farm and event space located just 60 miles southeast of Nashville in Manchester, Tennessee. The 2019 Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival will see a truly extraordinary range of artists performing around the clock across more than 10 unique stages over the four-day event.

Bonnaroo has continually sought new ways to enhance the fans’ onsite experience and the 2019 event will emphasize this with an array of remarkable new features and improvements. In 2018, Bonnaroo made significant upgrades to the site’s communal areas, known as Plazas. Last August, GOJIRA frontman Joseph “Joe” Duplantier confirmed to Metal Injection that the band has commenced the songwriting process for the follow-up to 2016’s “Magma” album.

“Magma” earned GOJIRA its first-ever Grammy nominations for “Best Metal Performance” and “Best Rock Album.” GOJIRA‘s crushing track “Silvera” received a nomination for “Best Metal Performance”, while “Magma” was nominated for “Best Rock Album” at the awards.
