Halestorm vocalist/guitarist Lzzy Hale has checked in with the following update:
“In true Halestorm fashion, let’s go big or go home! Enjoy our full album here. My insider advice, listen to the record front to back, cuz in a day and age where everyone is freaking out about the state of the music business, we said fuck it, and made an ‘album.’
It’s a snapshot of where we are at in our lives and emotions; all basic tracks done live, just the four of us performing in a circle in a beautiful church in Nashville. We erred on the side of performance and making moments, rather than perfection, bridging the gap between what you’ve heard on previous records and what you see at a live Halestorm show. We are unapologetically stoked to share this with you! Enjoy!”
Halestorm recently released a music video for the new song, “Amen”, featured on their new album Into The Wild Life, due for release in North America on April 7th (out now in Europe and the UK). It can be viewed at the bottom of the page. The album is currently available for pre-order via iTunes here.
Into The Wild Life marks the band’s third studio album and follow-up to 2012’s The Strange Case Of… Recorded last year in Nashville with Grammy-nominated producer Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant, Eric Church) at the helm, the album is heralded by new single, “Apocalyptic”.
“Into The Wild Life is not a departure,” says Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale. “It’s an invitation to all things Halestorm. Lyrically and musically, we explored everything that makes us tick. We set a new standard for this record and gave ourselves no choice other than to be unapologetically ourselves in every way. Peel away at the onion that is our third record if you dare and let us drag you deeper into our world.”
