INDESTRUCTIBLE NOISE COMMAND Announce Charity Fundraiser In Advance Of New Single “Beneath The Smoke”

Thrash metal veterans Indestructible Noise Command (I.N.C.) will be releasing a new single titled “Beneath The Smoke” in the spring.  In conjunction with this release they will be donating all proceeds from the sale of the single to the International Association of Fire Fighters Burn Fund.
 
“The lyrics to ‘Beneath The Smoke’ were written by Dennis and I as a tribute to firefighters everywhere,” states guitarist Anthony Fabrizi, “The job is a brotherhood, built on tradition, honor, and personal sacrifice both physically and emotionally.”
 
Both Anthony and vocalist Dennis Gergely are career firefighters in their home state of Connecticut and the idea of the song and charity fundraiser came about from personal grief and sacrifice.
 
 “A few years back, two firefighters that work with Dennis lost their lives battling a house fire,” continues Anthony, “They left behind wives, children, and a grieving department of brothers.  The first line of the song is inspired from a quote that hung on the locker of one of the fallen brothers:
 
“It’s been said that the brave may die but the cautious never live”
 
 “The lyrics give you an idea of the physical challenges of the job and the effects of the emotional aspect as well.  Emotions that most keep buried inside and never share.”
 
Anthony Fabrizi is a Captain with the Milford Fire Department with over 21 years of service. Vocalist Dennis Gergely is a Lieutenant with over 15 years of service to the Bridgeport Fire Department. Drummer Kyle Shepard is the song of a Bridgeport firefighter as well.
