KAMELOT has announced the second North American leg of its “The Shadow Tour”. Dates begin September 10, 2019 in Silver Spring, Maryland and run through October 12, 2019 in Tampa, Florida. Support on the trek will come from SONATA ARCTICA and BATTLE BEAST. Exclusive pre-sale tickets are available now at EnterTheVault.com.

Says KAMELOT guitarist Thomas Youngblood: “We’re very excited to announce we’re bringing ‘The Shadow Tour’ back to North America again for another round. On the previous tour, we missed some of our favorite cities due to logistics. We demanded to return to North America as soon as possible and visit these great cities. KAMELOT is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, “The Shadow Theory”, which was released April 6 via Napalm Records. The follow-up to 2015’s “Haven” was helmed by acclaimed music producer Sascha Paeth and mastered by Jacob Hansen. Guests on the album include Lauren Hart (ONCE HUMAN), Jennifer Haben (BEYOND THE BLACK) and Sascha Paeth. The cover artwork was created by Stefan Heilemann.

Youngblood spoke to Kaaos TV about KAMELOT’s recent lineup changes, including Johan Nunez replacing longtime drummer Casey Grillo. He said: “Our drummer before was with us for 20 years, so it’s like he’s still one of my best friends. It’s like if you’ve committed yourself to 20 years for something and you want to do something new, who can blame the person for that? Now we have a young German guy [Alex Landenburg]. He’s enthusiastic. He’s an amazing player. It brings a lot of fresh energy to the music. It doesn’t really change the songwriting style because most of the songwriting is done by the core songwriters, but it’s just a nice change in energy, I think.”
