MÖTLEY CRÜE Says Goodbye With Final Show; TOMMY LEE’s Drum Kit Breaks Down During Solo; Video

Mötley Crüe said farewell last night (December 31st) with their Final Show ending the band’s 34 year tenure. The show took place at Los Angeles’ Staples Center as there was a hint of sadness in the air and singer Vince Neil choked up shortly into the set when thanking the fans for coming.

Billboard reported bassist Nikki Sixx told the audience, “Maybe a year from now, somebody’s gonna look at you and say, ‘Remember that band Mötley Crüe? They were pretty cool.’ And you know what you’re gonna say? ‘Well fuck you because I was at their last concert ever!’”

During Tommy Lee’s drum solo, his drum kit roller coaster malfunctioned as the Lee was suspended upside down halfway through his solo.
