M:Pire Of Evil quietly parted ways with drummer Marc “JXN” Jackson in 2014, and neither side has seriously addressed the split in the press. Jackson has posted a brief message on Facebook to hopefully clear up any rumours:
“Only because I have had a few messages asking why I left M:pire, and I know I haven’t really responded, but that’s only because I didn’t want anything to come across as bitching or anything, because it’s not what I do. I did not leave the band, but at the same time there are no grudges or anything like that. Me Jeff and Tony are still in touch at times. I’m glad they are out there doing what they do best and doing an awesome job as usual.”
In August 2014, M:Pire Of Evil released their brand new live album and the split CD entitled Double Jeopardy featuring Grazed via their official website. The band’s Creatures Of The Black EP, Hell To The Holy, Crucified, and the “Demone” limited edition 7″ blue vinyl are also available. Go to this location for details and to order.
