Si affacciano sul panorama progressivo nostrano e si chiamano Portal Way, la loro proposta sonica è ovviamente Prog metal (instrumentale) ma dai tratti marcatamente sinfonici e ricchissimo di melodie di tastiera e piano (strumenti prevalenti). Band non direttamente riconducibile a nessun altro gruppo -e quindi complimenti per l’originalità- (a tratti possono però ricordare i passaggi più sinfonici e keyboard-based degli Artension), i Portal Way si impegnano a spaziare dalle atmosfere più medievali come testimoniano “The First Battle” e “Portal Way (Orchestral version)” (entrambe possono obbiettivamente ricordare un po’ i grandi Summoning), alle evoluzioni (anche a livello tecnico) più legate al genere (es: “In the Cathedral). Uniche due note negative (ed alla prima và assolutamente pensato un bel rimedio) sono: 1 – L’artwork e l’aspetto con i quali si presenta il promo al redattore (…un po’ ‘na schifezz…) 2 – La preparazione tecnica: nulla da dire su preparazione e stile di Igor (tastierista), un po’ meno per quanto riguarda Omar (batterista). Poco male, ben poco può bastare per ovviare a questa postilla. Continuate così!
