THRESHOLD Keyboardist Talks Touring, New Live Album; Video Available

In the clip below, Threshold’s Richard West discusses the band’s For The Journey tour, during which they recorded new live album, European Journey:

Threshold recently revealed the first details for their upcoming new double live album. It was recorded at various venues across Europe during November 2014, in support of their current studio album For The Journey. European Journey contains 15 live tracks and will be released as a 2CD digipak, out November 13th in Europe.

European Journey will be released in North America on November 20th via Metalville Records/Nuclear Blast.

The band recently premiered the second track from their new offering. Shot by fans across various venues in Europe and the United States, the video for “Lost In Your Memory” can be seen below.

Keyboardist Richard West commented on the track: “We’ve always loved doing power ballads, ever since our early days, with tracks like “Innocent” and “Forever”. This is a ballad from our last album For The Journey and I love how it comes across live.“

Threshold have announced a special European headline tour in January 2016 – The Journey Continues. The band will perform their latest studio album, For The Journey, in its entirety plus a selection of classics and old favourites.

Richard West comments how one recent European show inspired the idea: “In June, we performed the whole of For The Journey for the first time. It was such a good show we thought we’d do it again!”
