VISION OF DISORDER Streaming “Electric Sky” Track

Razed To The Ground is the imminent new full-length from New York City hardcore icons, Vision Of Disorder. Set to drop via Candlelight Records on the new street date of November 27th, Razed To The Ground was captured by Chris “Zeuss” Harris (Hatebreed, Madball, Terror etc), and displays a more refined and matured approach to their sound while musically retaining their signature tension, release and paralyzing grooves, punctuated by a nonstop barrage of dynamic vocal devastation. A new track, “Electric Sky” is streaming below.

 Recorded during July and August, Razed To The Ground contains ten hearty and provocative new songs from the hardcore luminaries. Vocalist Tim Williams notes, “we are very excited for our fans to hear this record. We believe it offers everything VOD does well. I am especially excited about the growth of the songs; the brutality, the melody, and the overall sound of the record.” Bassist Mike Fleischmann adds, “as a band, Vision Of Disorder strives to evolve musically with each album.  Having Zeuss as producer really allowed us to achieve that goal. Razed To The Ground contains some of this band’s finest moments and we are extremely grateful to Candlelight that we have been given the opportunity to demonstrate that we are still at the top of our game.”
 
Razed To The Ground comes three years after the release of The Cursed Remain Cursed; the first newly recorded material by the band in over ten years.

Formed in 1992, Vision Of Disorder recorded three demos and an EP before releasing their self-titled Roadrunner Records debut in 1996. Between 1994 and 1999, the band would see eight additional and now rare recordings as their fan base grew, including a split 7-inch with Loyal To None (Hearsay Records), a split 7-inch with Nanchaku (Dea Records), and the Resurrecting Reality EP (Crisis/Revelation Records) featuring their cover of Bad Brains classic “Soul Craft.” The band would record a second album for Roadrunner, Imprint (1998), and two additional albums, For The Bleeders (1999, Go Kart Records) and From Bliss To Devastation (2001, TVT Records) before disbanding. By 2008, VOD reunited and began writing new material for the first time in over a decade. They announced their signing with England’s Candlelight Records on February 23rd, 2012. The Cursed Remain Cursed was released six months later.
