“Skeletons” è il nuovo lavoro di Wednesday 13 e si distingue da quanto fatto precedentemente per una vena maggiormente oscura ed introspettiva. Certo, non che il punk’n’roll orrorifico che ha sempre caratterizzato quest’artista non fosse presente in passato, tuttavia “Skeletons” appare meno permeato da quella “gaiezza festaiola” che – seppur disturbante – permeava di più i precedenti lavori con una certa “allegria sbilenca” piuttosto apprezzabile. Purtroppo questa novità non mi ha entusiasmato molto, ed infatti ho apprezzato “Skeletons” meno dei precedenti lavori.
Insomma, trovo che Wednesday 13 sia più interessante nelle vesti del “weird” dotato di autoironia che in questa nuova versione più intimista, motivo per cui il voto si attesta su una, comunque meritata, sufficienza.
